Note: NO Version 12 installations should be supported on Domains! All networks should be configured as Workgroups.
Version 12 Desktop is designed to operate a single location. The application and data is all stored locally and should be backed up and taken off-premises regularly. Additional workstations can be added and alternate requirements are provided below.

Note: It is best to dedicate the SQL Server to that function alone and not install a lot of other user applications on it. If additional user applications also attempt to install shared components they can conflict with Version 12 components and cause an application error.
This configuration is for additional workstations only. Each location will require at least one Server configuration. If a Workstation doesn’t meet the Minimum Configuration for a Server it cannot be used in substitution if a Server is unavailable.

Version 12 Premium is designed to link multiple locations in real-time. The Premium Server hosts the application and all locations’ data. All workstations connect to this server to access the centralized application; therefore this system’s configuration requirements are very dependent on the current and future size of the entire organization.

Snapshot is a local copy of the location’s data to be accessed in the event that the location cannot access the Enterprise Server due to internet failure or other factor. The local data Snapshot provides continued operation and re-synchronizes itself automatically when the Server connection is re-established.
